Personality: Corey is “enthusiastic”, to the point where he frequently neglects his responsibilities in search of fun. Easily distracted, He’ll be focusing on a game one minute and a new discovery the next. Corey loves to show off, thriving on the attention it brings especially from the ladies. Not that he has much luck with girls. This doesn’t bother him much, Corey refuses to let the world get him down since there’s always another distraction for that right? Right?
He loves meeting people and enthusiastically greets everyone one and the same. But he’s not used to making long term friendships since he grew up in a holiday town and can come off a bit cocky and arrogant.
Corey is also very trusting of strangers and generally forgives any wrongs against him. However if Corey does manage to harbour a grudge, It’s hard to undo.

History: Corey grew up in ski fields. He was the second child of a floatzel couple. An ever curious child, he was always getting into trouble as he grew up, so to cope, his parents gave his older sister Brooke responsibility of him while they worked. Corey dragged his sister into many “adventures” as they grew up, several resulting in the pair needing to be rescued.
Corey tried making friends with holidaying children but every friendship was short lived as the visiting families would return home once their trip was over. As a result he became very dependent on his sister for company, particularly during the summer months. They often dreamed of the beaches they heard about from happy holiday makers when they were alone in the summer.

When Brooke was 19 and Corey was 15 He dragged her into an adventure which resulted in Brooke getting trapped in the snowfields and Corey having to retrieve help. The Herdier rescuer he returned with started a relationship with Brooke several months later.
This became a problem for Corey as he suddenly had to share his sister. Corey became more and more determined to keep his sister’s attention and played riskier and riskier “games” to keep her by his side.
Over the next two years, Brooke grew ever tired of his antics and her boyfriend pressured her to let him take care of himself. Finding that it was hard for her to stop caring for him, she decided it was best for them to separate. She managed to convince him to move to a new town by telling him all about the ocean and surf life, and challenging him that he wouldn’t last 5 weeks there.(As well as supplying some money of course)
Rather than just letting him move there, into a small run-down house which was the best they could afford, Brooke convinced Corey to ask their parents for a loan so he could set up his own business. Corey struggled to decide on what business to open until a smoothie bar was suggested to him as a viable option by his mother (who had taught him several recipes from her childhood in a tropical country.)
Since he liked smoothies, and knew how to make them, he thought it was a great idea.
And so he set off to win his sister's bet, enjoy the surf and make some darn good smoothies as well.

Corey hasn't done much in his new home yet, But he's still in one piece so he must be doing something right on his own. He can't say he's gotten the hang of surfing yet, or running a business. But he has made a few friends, So all is well.

Ability: Swift Swim - Corey gets more energy when it rains, which is perhaps why his parents raised him in an environment that didn't.
Moves:
Ice beam: Being able to freeze things has been useful to Corey on more than one occasion.
Razor wind: perfect for messing up his sister's hair. I wonder what he'll use it for now?
Surf: doesn't mean he can actually surf yet, (Though he will sooner or later.) Just that he can create waves to surf on.
Sonic boom: It was the best way to get extra momentum when snowboarding, and also the best way to set off an avalanche. Who knows? Maybe it'll be good for surfing momentum too!
